Maurice Lindley Seminar 2016
Three action packed days with Mo - teaching pointing dogs AND their owners!
These videos were videotaped during a three-day Maurice Lindley Seminar at Piney Run Kennel.
The seminar was divided into a Foundation Class and an Advanced Class and the videos follow this format. Sit back and watch as Mo goes from introducing pups to gamebirds to putting manners on young dogs to the finished product. Listen as he explains how the dog dictates when you move from one training level to the next.
A big thank-you to the dogs and their owners whose participation made these videos possible. Six pointing breeds were represented including Brittanys, German Shorthair Pointers, German Wirehair Pointers, Pointers, Weimaraners, and Wireharied Pointing Griffons. Some of these dogs have been hunted on wild birds and at hunting preserves. Others have competed or are in training to compete in Field Trials, Hunt Tests and similar types of competitions. Their owners came from states as far away as Florida and Massachusetts and places in-between.
The videos are divided into three sections - Early Training, Formal Training, and Teaching the Force Fetch. There are a total of 9 Chapters with a Viewing Guide to make the videos easy to follow. The best way to views the videos is to first watch it in its entirety and then go back and select specific Chapters for study.
For additional information on Mo's training method, see his book Training with Mo by Martha Greenlee, Glade Run Press, and SteadywithStyle at http://steadywithstyle.com.. All of us involved in this project hope the videos make you feel like you are part of the seminar and we wish you much success in achieving your goals with your dog
